Unlocking Instructions for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 & Bold 9780 running OS 6.0 and Bold 9900, Bold 9930, Torch 9810, Torch 9850, and Torch 9860 running BlackBerry OS 7.
- Insert a SIM Card from non-locked to network (ie. If your device is from AT&T, use a T-Mobile, Bell, etc. SIM)
- Power on your BlackBerry smartphone
- You will be prompted to enter MEP Unlock Code as provided by us
Alternative BlackBerry OS 6.0 and OS 7.0 Unlocking InstructionsNOTE: Simcard should be inserted in to the phone prior to performing these steps.
- Go to Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Sim Card
- Slide the keyboard out.
- Type ‘MEPD’
- Type ‘MEP2′ (type as MEP (press hold ALT key) 2)
- You will then be prompted to enter the MEP2 code
- Enter the MEP2 code and press enter (CONFIRM you get “Code Accepted” message)
- If you also have a MEP4 code, type ‘MEP4′ (user will be prompted to enter MEP code). Enter the MEP4 code (CONFIRM you get “Code Accepted” message)
NOTE: Most phone do not have the mep4 lock, only the MEP2 lock...
BlackBerry Bold / Curve / Tour / Storm

- Ensure a SIM Card is inserted
- Go to ‘Manage Connections’
- Click on ‘Turn All Connections Off’
- Go to ‘Options’
- Click on ‘Advanced Options’
- Click on ‘SIM Card’
- Type ‘MEPD’ (letters will not appear on-screen but a menu will pop up. For the Storm, tilt the phone horizontally, click the BlackBerry button and Show keyboard)
- Type ‘MEP2′ (user will be prompted to enter MEP code)
- Enter the MEP2 code (CONFIRM you get “Code Accepted” message)
- *If you also have a MEP4 code, type ‘MEP4′ (user will be prompted to enter MEP code)
- Enter the MEP4 code (CONFIRM you get “Code Accepted” message)
- Reboot your BlackBerry
- Go to ‘Manage Connections’
- Click on ‘Restore Connections’
- Your BlackBerry is now unlocked
BlackBerry Pearl / Pearl Flip

- Ensure a SIM Card is inserted
- Go to ‘Manage Connections’
- Click on ‘Turn All Connections Off’
- Go to ‘Options’
- Click on ‘Advanced Options’
- Click on ‘SIM Card’
- Type ‘MEPP2′ (user will be prompted to enter MEP code)
- Enter the unlock code (CONFIRM you get “Code Accepted” message)
- Reboot your BlackBerry
- Go to ‘Manage Connections’
- Click on ‘Restore Connections’
- Your BlackBerry is now unlocked
Classic BlackBerry Models
- Ensure a SIM Card is inserted
- Go to ‘Manage Connections’
- Click on ‘Turn All Connections Off’
- Go to ‘Options’
- Click on ‘Advanced Options’
- Click on ‘SIM Card’
- Hold ALT key and type ‘MEPE’ (user will be prompted to enter MEP code)
- Enter the unlock code (CONFIRM you get “Code Accepted” message)
- Reboot device
- Go to ‘Manage Connections’
- Click on ‘Restore Connections’
- Device is now unlocked
- Reboot your BlackBerry and it will be unlocked
